Świtezianki, 2026
Świtezianki is a series of watercolours drawing on Slavic folklore, midsummer mythology, and the ambiguous figure of the water nymph. Suspended between seduction and threat, beauty and disappearance, the works explore feminine presence as spectral and revengeful. Through translucent washes, lilies, ribbons, and nocturnal atmospheres, the series continues my interest in female narratives, aesthetics of absence, and the threshold between memory, myth, and image.
In these series each work is 56x76cm, on paper 640gsm.
Works on paper
Works on Paper gathers watercolours that extend my interest in trace, memory, and the fragile visibility of the figure. The immediacy of paper allows images to remain provisional and atmospheric — held between apparition and disappearance, intimacy and distance. Across these works, the material surface becomes a site where female presence, absence, and recollection are negotiated.
Selected paintings
Selected Paintings presents recent works exploring female presence, absence, and the image as a site of return. Moving between figuration, memory, and archival trace, the paintings hold their subjects in a state of partial visibility — neither fully present nor entirely lost.
